Job Opening: Executive Director

The Philippine Seed Industry Association (PSIA) is looking for an experienced and visionary leader to serve as Executive Director.

Role Summary:

The Executive Director serves as the chief executive of PSIA, responsible for leading strategic initiatives, managing operations, and representing the association in national and international forums. This role is suited for a seasoned professional with deep experience in seed systems, agricultural policy, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation of PSIA’s strategic priorities in coordination with the Board and member organizations

• Represent PSIA in policy dialogues, regulatory consultations, and sectoral forums

• Facilitate collaboration among member companies, government agencies, and research institutions

• Oversee technical programs, farmer outreach activities, and industry events

• Ensure operational efficiency, financial oversight, and good governance across the Secretariat

• Serve as spokesperson and guide PSIA’s communications and public engagement

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in the Philippine seed industry, with leadership in organizational or sectoral roles

• Advanced degree in agriculture, plant sciences, or related field preferred

• Strong familiarity with seed policy, regulatory frameworks, and industry standards

• Proven ability to manage multi-stakeholder initiatives and institutional partnerships
