Updated: Jun 4

Baguio City, May 29, 2025 — Members of the Philippine Seed Industry Association (PSIA) joined forces with the Department of Agriculture–Cordillera Administrative Region (DA-CAR) in celebrating the culmination of Farmers and Fisherfolk Month through the Agri-Serbisyo Fair held at Burnham Park.

Representing PSIA at the event were Harbest Agribusiness Corporation, Allied Botanical Corporation, and Enviro Scope Synergy, Inc. Our member-companies showcased their innovations and solutions for modern, sustainable agriculture—demonstrating the seed industry’s active role in empowering local food producers.

Nearly 600 farmers and fisherfolk from across the Cordillera region participated in the fair, which aimed to bring government services, agricultural technologies, and learning opportunities closer to the grassroots.

The event highlighted the Department of Agriculture’s continuing commitment to uplifting the lives of farmers and fisherfolk by connecting them with both public and private sector partners.

Through its members, PSIA reaffirmed its dedication to promoting resilient and climate-smart agriculture by making quality seeds and technical expertise more accessible to the country’s food producers.
